1. What PD Measure is

PD Measure provides free, browser-based tools to estimate your pupillary distance (PD). It is a measurement aid, not a medical device and does not provide medical, optical, or diagnostic advice. Results are estimates and include a confidence range.

2. No professional advice

The information and measurements provided are for general informational purposes only. For strong or complex prescriptions, prism, very young children, or after eye surgery, you should obtain or confirm your PD with a licensed optician or eye-care professional. Never rely solely on this tool for safety-critical or clinical decisions.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the tool lawfully and only on yourself or with the consent of the person being measured. You agree not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to reverse-engineer the service for malicious purposes.

4. “As is”, no warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Measurement accuracy depends on factors outside our control, such as lighting, device, camera quality and correct calibration.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PD Measure and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the tool or reliance on its results — including the cost of glasses ordered using a measurement obtained here.

6. Privacy

Your camera image and photos are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
